VPN Help
VPN (Virtual Private Network) provides a way of joining the CEU Network from off-campus, allowing you to access all electronic resources (eg.: databases and Infosys) as if you were on campus.
In order to make full use of VPN (and our Library toolbar) on your off-campus computers, you need to install so called "AnyConnect VPN Client." Please go to https://vpn.ceu.hu and log in with your Novell username and password. (Accept all certificates temporarily, always click continue and disregard any error messages, security certificate warnings, or possible domain name mismatches.)
Click on the "Start AnyConnect" button and follow the instructions. After the installation you will find "AnyConnect VPN Client" at the"Start menu" .
From now on you will be able to turn on VPN by mere clicking this icon and connecting to "vpn.ceu.hu" with your Novell username and password. You should eventually see a small icon in the shape of a lock in the lower right corner of your screen.
If this guide does not resolve your problem, email the IT Department for help.
Please disconnect VPN when your session is finished.
